Not there yet

Yes we did get to almost 9000 feet,  8870 was the highest we saw.  Sylvia Peak is 9125

    Now that is some major elevation!! Sure beats the highest here in WV!!!Spruce Knob in Pendleton County rises 4863 feet above sea.
